What is DTMS Army?

First, it is essential to know the DTMS army’s meaning. DTMS stands for Digital Training Management System.

The term, which implements Field Manual 7-0, is a web-based program allowing military leaders or commanders in all echelons to manage individual or collective training.

Through this program, military leaders would be able to plan, record, and assess their units’ training. They can view or edit Mission Essential Task List (METL) besides schedule training to long-range or short-range calendars.

To fulfill the DTMS Army’s purpose, this program is designed in such a way as to record soldiers’ information systematically. It contains information such as APFT results. The program also records exact height and weight.

Furthermore, DTMS contains other information as well. That is soldier’s training. Thus, you can find your training history, too, if you use it.

Other than that, it records weapons qualifications and mandatory tasks too.

In conclusion, DTMS provides many kinds of information. Higher headquarters then access it. They use them to maintain training progress.
